Amsterdam Light Festival Winter Walk with Stroopwafel Tasting

See the Amsterdam Light Festival and the highlights of the historic city center on a 1- or 2-hour winter walk with a local guide.

Description

Every winter, artists from around the world create light installations along Amsterdam’s canals and streets for the Amsterdam Light Festival. On this walking tour, your local guide takes you past the festival artworks and tells you about the city’s history, landmarks and culture.

The tour starts with a hot chocolate with cream and a free 360 Tours winter hat to keep you warm. From Nieuwmarkt square, you’ll walk alongside the Red Light District to Dam Square, and on to the Jordaan area, where you’ll pass the Anne Frank House.

Along the way, you’ll also enjoy a stroopwafel tasting. These thin waffles with a caramel-syrup filling are one of the best-known Dutch treats.

Choose the 1-hour walk for a short introduction to the festival, or the 2-hour walk to see more artworks and more of the city.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Adoramos e voltaríamos a repetir eu e toda a família! Obrigada

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Muchas gracias.

Viele vielen Dank! Verified WALKING TOUR IN AMSTERDAM
Amazing tour with lots of history and significance. Our guide was very passionate and knowledgeable (Ollie) and also took the time to select his favorite passages from Anne Frank’s diary. He was able to answer questions on the spot and was great at keeping our group together.

Verified Excellent and informative tour of the Van Gogh museum
My guide was Petra, she was waiting at the meeting site when I arrived 15 minutes early, introduced herself and we chatted while we waited for one more person who ended up meeting us inside the museum. Petra was very professional yet made the tour very personal with her passion for the art and Van Gogh. Her explanations were thorough with loads of background info too. I’m so glad I booked this tour and I would highly recommend it
