Description

Every winter, artists from around the world create light installations along Amsterdam’s canals and streets for the Amsterdam Light Festival. On this private walking tour, your own local guide takes just your group past the festival artworks and tells you about the city’s history, landmarks and culture, with plenty of time for your questions.

The tour starts with a hot chocolate with cream and a free 360 Tours winter hat to keep you warm. From Nieuwmarkt square, you’ll walk alongside the Red Light District to Dam Square, and on to the Jordaan area, where you’ll pass the Anne Frank House.

Along the way, you’ll also enjoy a stroopwafel tasting. These thin waffles with a caramel-syrup filling are one of the best-known Dutch treats.

Wir durften zu zweit an einer ganz tolle Führung von Amy teilnehmen. Sie hat uns ganz viel Wissenwertes und Spannedes über Anne, ihre Familie und Bekannte erzählt, Orte gezeigt und uns durch die Stadt geführt. Die 2 Stunden vergingen wie im Flug. Amy hat die Führung spannend gestaltet, durch ihre Fragen an uns hat sie uns zum mitdenken animiert. Wir durften viel neues lernen und sind wirklich begeistert von der schönen Tour. My guide was Petra, she was waiting at the meeting site when I arrived 15 minutes early, introduced herself and we chatted while we waited for one more person who ended up meeting us inside the museum. Petra was very professional yet made the tour very personal with her passion for the art and Van Gogh. Her explanations were thorough with loads of background info too.
