Hermitage Amsterdam is located directly on the river Amstel and right near the Magere Brug in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The Hermitage Amsterdam dates back to 1683 where for years – until 2007 – served as an elderly care house. It was not until the year 2009 that it became the Amsterdam Hermitage following the original in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
