In today\u2019s blog, we wanted to tell you a bit more about public transport in Amsterdam, so that you have all the information you need for your next visit to Amsterdam.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, Amsterdam has everything: Tram, metro, Bus, Ferry, Train but it\u2019s most common to use are the Tram and the metro. Already with these two you can go anywhere in the city. The ferries are mostly used to bring you to Amsterdam Noord for free, but there are also others outside of Amsterdam. The train can be used to go to further destinations from Amsterdam. For the tram, there are many lines (1-26 with some numbers missing) that cover a pretty wide area of Amsterdam. The 5 metro lines (50-54) can also bring you from one side of the city to the other. Remember that you have to scan your tickets or your OV Chipkaart when going on all public transport (except for the ferry) and that you also have to check out.<\/span><\/p>\n
