Current COVID-19 Measures in Amsterdam
Dear Amsterdam lovers,
The Corona pandemic is still making life difficult and we miss the normal everyday life, as well as we miss you!
We are still in lockdown with strict rules in the Netherlands, applicable until the 30th of March. Currently, there is a curfew between 9pm and 4:30am and the usual 1,5 meter distance and hygienic rules apply; so wash your hands, wash your hands!
A lot of businesses are still closed: Restaurants, bars, theaters, cinemas, casinos, amusement parks, zoos and sex establishments. Most big events or festivals are postponed to later in this year.
Even though you can’t consume anything in restaurants, bars & cafés, most of them offer a delivery or take away service for their meals and drinks. A similar rule applies for shops: You can either use the click-and-collect service, or book online a shopping appointment of at least 10 minutes. Essential shops such as supermarkets, bakeries, drug stores and pharmacies are open as usual.
You are allowed to visit Amsterdam and walk on its beautiful streets with members of the same household or when this is not the case, max one other person from another household.
Further information is available on the official coronavirus information website of the Dutch government. For more information on Amsterdam’s restrictions click here.
We hope these restrictions will end on the 30th of March, so we can welcome you back in April on one of our unique walking tours. Until then, all tours are only available as a private tour. See if you’re able to get some inspiration for the coming months by checking out the tours on our website, Instagram and Facebook Page!
Tip: Once you’ve decided to go on a tour, be quick! We are currently offering attractive discounts on most of our tours.
If you’re still going to visit Amsterdam even though there is the lockdown, we would like to give you an idea of how your day could look like. For that, check our next blog post.
Get in touch if you have any questions! Otherwise, we’ll keep you up to date with our blogs, posts and website.
Stay healthy and always remember:
“You’ll never walk alone!”
