Covid-19 Update – 01.07.2021

As a new month has begun, it’s time for another update on the Covid-19 situation in Amsterdam. However, unlike in our last blogs, there is not much to say!

The incidence in the Netherlands is now at 26 (as of July 2nd). Thus, the next step of the relaxation plan could be implemented.

From June 26th, all shops are open again and events are allowed to take place again. However, it must be ensured that the minimum distance of 1.5 m can be maintained. Gastronomy no longer has a prescribed end.

Furthermore, the restrictions on the number of visitors at home and the restrictions on a group outside have been lifted.

Since Saturday 26 June, masks are no longer compulsory in the Netherlands. Facemasks are now only to be worn in public transport and places where the distance of 1.5 m cannot be kept.

Also, there are travel relaxations in any case for those who have been vaccinated. In most cases, a PCR test no longer needs to be presented on entry. However, this depends on where you are entering from, as there are still countries where virus variants are spreading. As travel measures change frequently, we advise you to check the official sites for more information.

You can find more information on the official coronavirus information website  of the Dutch government or the official site of the city of Amsterdam.

From now on, we welcome you not only on our self-guided food tours of  the 9 Streets or the Jordaan district, but also on the city tours led by our great guides. To find them, Click here.

We look forward to seeing you in Amsterdam soon!

Until then, take care of yourself despite the improving situation.

See you then,

Your 360 Amsterdam Tours Team.
